Departmental Scholarships - Computer Science
Computer Science Scholarship
Department/Contact: Computer Science/Department Chair
Criteria: The recipient must have submitted a competition essay on a
given topic, be an undergraduate with a declared major in computer science
with a minimum 3.0 grade point average overall and 3.0 or better in
computer science. Applicants must have completed core classes by the
end of the semester in which application is made.

Verizon Technology Scholarship
Department/Contact: Computer Science/Department Chair
Criteria: The recipient must be a resident of Maryland and a junior,
senior or graduate student with a declared major in computer science.
Applicants must have demonstrated interest in computer science or information
technologies as shown by previous scholarship or research, membership
or avocation, and must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment at FSU
with an overall grade point average of 3.0 or better. Awards may be
received for two consecutive years if an overall grade point average
of 3.0 or better is maintained. Preference will be given to demonstrated
academic ability.
