Music Endowed Achievement Award

Criteria: The recipient must be a declared music major who demonstrates
academic and musical ability and carries a minimum 3.0 grade point average.

Annual Fund Achievement Award Student Assistant/Choral

Criteria: The recipient is determined by the director of music programs
for a student assisting with music programs within the department.

Criteria: The recipient is determined by the director of marching band
to assist a student assisting with the marching band program.

Music Endowed Aden Lewis Scholarship

Criteria: The recipient must be an incoming freshman intending to major
in music education.

Mabel Myers Music Memorial Scholarship

Criteria: Recipient must be a declared music major with at least 60
credits at time of award, an overall GPA of 3.0 or above, and interest
in music as demonstrated by participation in a departmental ensemble,
or by providing private instruction or musical services for a church
organization. Preference given to students who demonstrate the most
current participation in music activities listed above. Award may be
renewed for 2 consecutive years if an overall GPA of 3.0 or above is
maintained. Audition required.

Lawrence McDonald Scholarship for Clarinet Study

Criteria: Applicants must be enrolled full time at FSU with a demonstrated
ability on the clarinet, including demonstrated interest in clarinet
as shown by previous scholarship or research or membership or by avocation.
The recipients(s) must have an FSU overall grade point average of 3.0
or better, as well as a grade point average of 3.0 or better in related
private instruction. If the student is an incoming freshman, award is
based on a scholarship audition. The recipients(s) must continue to
demonstrate a high level of performance to remain eligible for any future
awards. Preference will be given as follows: (1) renewal applicants
- awards may be received for 2 consecutive years if an overall grade
point average of 3.0 or better is maintained, as well as a high level
of musical performance; (2) in the event of equally qualified applicants,
a preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated ability to
play the clarinet; and (3) in the event of equally qualified applicants,
a preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated academic
ability.

Music Endowed Pusey Scholarship

Criteria: The recipient must be a full-time student with a demonstrated
ability on woodwind instruments (bassoon or oboe) through participation
in FSU performing groups. Preference will be given to music majors.

Marguerite Witwer Richards Scholarship

Criteria: The recipient must have demonstrated ability to perform classical
music as demonstrated by playing the piano, other classical instruments
or through vocal performance. Applicants may be required to audition
and must be accepted to attend FSU or be enrolled at FSU with a grade
point average of 3.0 or above. Awards may be received for three consecutive
years if an overall grade point average of at least 3.0 is maintained.
In the event of equally qualified applicants, preference will be given
for demonstrated academic ability.

Trevaskis Scholarship

Criteria: The recipient must be a full-time student at FSU majoring
in music with a 3.0 or above grade point average. Financial need must
be demonstrated.
