Dr. Leroy L. Kohler - Sociology Scholarship

Criteria: The recipient shall be a junior or senior with a declared
sociology major or minor and have an overall grade point average of
3.5 or better. The recipient is recognized as the most outstanding junior
or senior sociology student as per the bequest of Leroy Kohler.

Anne E. and William B. Wallace Award
Department/Contact: Sociology/Department Chair
Criteria: The recipient must have been a resident of the tri-state area
(West Virginia, Pennsylvania or Maryland within a 75-mile radius of
Cumberland) for three years prior to attending FSU, and be a full-time
junior or senior at the time of receipt of the award with a declared
sociology, social work or education major and a concentration in sociology.
A minimum cumulative FSU grade point average of 2.8 or above is required.
Applicants must be planning to enter a career involving counseling or
guidance of youth. Preference will be given to renewal applicants. The
award may be received for two consecutive years as an undergraduate.
