The SGA/DEI committee also worked with various organizations on campus to collectively create an educational pamphlet to educate students on their bodies and the importance of menstrual hygiene.

"This is an initiative from the students, for the students. Student leaders are both the ear and the voice of their fellow peers," said student and former SGA/DEI committee chair, Ashlynn Cooper. "It is our responsibility to educate ourselves on the needs shared by others and putting forth the action to ensure a more progressive future." Cooper continued, "It is with this mindset that I chose to use my opportunity as then SGA/DEI chair to help contribute to a cause that made this happen."

The purpose of the Menstrual Product Initiative (MPI) is to provide the appropriate products and education for students on campus who experience a menstrual cycle with the objective to give easier access to these products for students who may not have the opportunity to acquire them quickly or financially. The MPI also aims to educate students on the benefits and disadvantages of using these products as well as the biological process of the cycle and the affects it has on their bodies.
