From a combined bachelor and Juris Doctor (JD), a double major with dual-degree option, to tracks and concentrations in other majors, our programs will help you strive to acquire exceptional ability in communication; gain critical understanding of human values and institutions; and develop understanding in the use of various types of reasoning.

Computer Science

A degree in Computer Science will prepare you to enter Law School and engage with the ever-entangled laws and policies related to technology. Computer Science teaches many recommendations of the American Bar Association, such as problem-solving, researching, and relationship-building. Gain an understanding of how large datasets, logs, and other aspects of your degree can give a clearer picture of a murky situation, and develop a refined sense of intellectual property rights and privacy issues in your Ethics Course.

Law and Society and Philosophy Double Major, with Dual-Degree Option

This combined pathway will allow you to complete two sequences of courses that provide strong preparation for law school in as little as three years. Then, you can take your fourth year to finish a Bachelor’s Degree from Frostburg State or take advantage of our partnership with the University of Baltimore School of Law to start law school a year early. If you choose this option, the courses you take at UBalt Law will count as Frostburg credits, so after a year of law school, you will graduate with a bachelor’s degree from Frostburg State.
