The Division of Student Affairs provides opportunities for meaningful engagement to enhance personal and professional growth within supportive and inclusive environments, transforming students into leaders prepared for our complex and changing global society.

STUDENT AFFAIRS CORE VALUES

The Student Affairs division embodies four values – Collaboration, Responsibility, Engagement, and Experience.

COLLABORATION

Students will collaborate with other students, faculty, staff, and civic leaders.  Student Affairs staff will collaborate with these constituents to create and implement inventive programs and services that develop student success, help them achieve their learning goals, and expose them to diverse and global cultures.

RESPONSIBILITY

Students will be responsible for their learning and community. Student Affairs staff will be responsible for supporting student learning and contributing to a safe and healthy campus environment.

ENGAGEMENT

Students will be engaged with the institution, learning, other students, and the community. Student Affairs staff will engage students and the community by providing programs and services that promote student curricular, co-curricular, and civic engagement.

EXPERIENCE

Students will gain reflective experience in and outside the classroom.  A highly experienced and dedicated Student Affairs staff will offer, foster, and validate experiential learning opportunities for students.
