FSU Scholarships & Grants

Frostburg State University offers institutional financial assistance programs that are available only to FSU students. Students must meet academic progress standards and be enrolled full-time (12+ credits for undergraduate or 9+ credits for graduate) to receive and keep their award, unless a scholarship states otherwise.

  • FSU Scholarships are offered to students based on criteria that vary with each scholarship, such as academic performance, curriculum, place of residence or financial need. They do not need to be repaid. The deadline to apply for FSU scholarships is March 1.

  • FSU Grants are awarded to students who demonstrate significant financial need on the FAFSA. The amount awarded can vary based on available funds and the number of eligible applicants. Grants do not need to be repaid. To receive priority consideration, students should have their FAFSA processed by March 1.
