- Academic Scholarships
Together, we can inspire, create, lead and transform the future. Frostburg State University offers incoming first year and transfer students a range of academic scholarships to help support your educational journey. Also referred to as merit scholarships, these renewable awards help offset the cost of tuition, putting a high-quality Frostburg State education within reach.
No extra application required. You are automatically considered for an academic scholarship based on eligibility criteria and information provided in your application for admission; first-time students with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and transfer students with a total college cumulative GPA 2.8 or higher will initially be considered. Additionally, the Admissions office will review your full academic portfolio to determine a merit scholarship offer.
Frostburg students can and will change the future. Our academic scholarship program shows our commitment to helping you make your mark on the world.
