Congratulations on becoming a Bobcat! We look forward to having you join the Frostburg State community. Our Bobcat Welcome Sessions give you the opportunity to further connect with campus, schedule classes with expert advisors, check out your housing options and meet with financial aid. You'll learn about all of the resources and opportunities that await you at Frostburg State.

Prepare for your Bobcat Welcome Session (required)

To help us prepare to work with you during Bobcat Welcome Sessions, please complete the following tasks available through Canvas on April 1:

  1. Complete the First-Year Student Survey. Advisors will review your feedback to help build your fall course schedule during your Welcome Session.
  2. Review the FSU Connections. Each of these learning communities include courses linked by themes as well as ORIE 101-Intro to Higher Education. Note your preferences to share with your advisor during your Welcome Session.
  3. Complete the Online Orientation to learn more about FSU programs and opportunities.

Welcome Session Dates

Bobcat Welcome sessions are held throughout the year and dates will be released shortly. Eligible students will receive a personalized invitation to a session.
