Why Frostburg?
I decided to come to Frostburg due to the student to teacher ratio that we have. After my first semester, I saw how much all the professors cared and I knew I had made the right choice. I love being in a class with few students so I have the opportunity to participate and ask questions in class. Also, when I toured campus I was amazed at how beautiful it was. It truly felt like home away from home.

Why Frostburg?
I chose to attend Frostburg State University for a variety of reasons. Not only does FSU offer great opportunities for my major and interests, but it also is home to a community that I strongly feel a part of. I wondered how I would feel about coming to FSU since Frostburg is my hometown, however, this university has more than exceeded my expectations. I am proud to be a Bobcat and grow to love it more with each semester! I felt welcome at FSU from the very beginning and knew that I had a place here no matter what my interests might be.

Why Frostburg?
I chose Frostburg due to the size of campus and the affordable cost of getting my education at this institution. I found that I can have an impact on the campus within my major, my organizations, and with how I represent Frostburg State University. There are lots of opportunities on campus, programs to excel in leadership and in personal development, and clubs that you can show your passions.

Major: Early Childhood/Elementary Education
Year: Junior
Extracurricular: Lady B.U.G.S. (Build. Uplift. Guide. Sisters), FAEYC (Frostburg Association for the Education of Young Children), NCNW (National Council of Negro Women)
Why Frostburg?
I chose Frostburg because I wanted to get a little way away from home, yet still be in the state of Maryland, where I am from. Also, Frostburg has, which was my first intended major, athletic training. After I established that athletic training was not for me, I switched into the education field and I love it, and that is why I stayed!

Why Frostburg?
I went on an open house tour when I was younger for my brother and the campus was so pretty and it seemed like a fun place to be so the name Frostburg always stuck into my head when thinking about colleges. Once I got to high school I was pretty set on going to Frostburg already! I took my open house tour and fell in love with the campus and everything about the location. I love being in the mountains where I can snowboard, hike, and adventure. Frostburg has become my home away from home.

Allison Paul
Hometown: Frostburg, MD
Major: Political Science and Law & Society double major
Year: Sophomore
Extracurricular: Delta Zeta sorority, Capatin of Women's tennis team, Honors Program, Phi Eta Sigma Honors Sorority
Why Frostburg?
I chose Frostburg because I come from a very small community and I loved the small community vibe that Frostburg gave me when I visited the campus.  Frostburg has a campus that is small enough for you to personally get to know your teachers and make connections, but it is also large enough to be home to different organizations, clubs, sports teams, fraternities/sororities, and much more.  This range of opportunities allow students to grow not only as an individual but also as a member of society.  Every day I attend class, I am constantly reminded of all the wonderful reasons why Frostburg State was the best choice for me to further my education on the collegiate level.

Ivana Rematt
Hometown: Leonardtown, MD
Major: Accounting and Spanish double major; double minor in Business Administration and International Studies
Year: Sophomore
Extracurricular: Alpha Sigma Alpha, Honors Program, Resident Assistant
Why Frostburg?
Ever since I started looking at collegese in 8th grade, I knew I wanted to go to Frosburg State.  I loved how small the classes were; I knew I always worked better in smaller classes, therefore going to Frostburg allowed me to succeed in my schoolwork.  I love how I'm not just a random speck in a room; the professors make the time to know who you are, and try their best to help you succeed. In my first few semesters, I knew this was the perfect school for me; if it wasn't for the amazing professors I had, I don't think I would've been able to have my 4.0 GPA as a first-year college student.

Why Frostburg?
Because I am from Hyndman, Frostburg State was a perfect choice for me. I knew that Frostburg State had a respected Computer Science program, and the University was only a thirty-minute drive from my home. When I was given a tour of the University I was mesmerized. The elegant buildings, friendly students, and welcoming staff made my decision to attend Frostburg State University very easy.

Brandon Tenney
Hometown: Cecil County, MD
Major: Political Science and Law & Society double major; double minor in Leadership Studies and Philosophy
Year: Junior
Extracurricular: Phi Mu Delta, Resident Assistant, National Residence Hall Honorary
Why Frostburg?
I choose Frostburg because of the home small town feeling I am accustomed to. Frostburg home feeling brings strong sense of community both on and off campus. The professors and staff at Frostburg care about who you are and actually like to get to know more about you as a person rather than just another face in the crowd. To put it in prospective the head of the Law and society department saw that I was a bright student and knew that I could handle more then what I was doing. After, talking to him a few times during his office hours he convinced me to be a double major and a minor while still being able to graduate on time. He still today consistently checks up on me to make sure I am performing well and staying on schedule even though he is not my adviser he is still willing to help me out.
