Checklist of Actions for Graduating Students

Are you a graduating student? You will find the checklist below helpful!

1. Complete your application for graduation through the Registrar’s Office and make sure all of your PAWS info (address, etc.) is accurate.

2. Upon your approval to graduate, watch for email from via inviting you to register with the Marching Order system. Graduates planning to attend Commencement on May 21 must register for the ceremony.

What is Marching Order?

-allows you to register for graduation online
-obtain e-tickets for your guests (you must claim your tickets by May 11, 2020). See Ticket Information.
-record your name to ensure it is pronounced correctly
-add a photo and personal message to the pre-ceremony slideshow

3. Order your cap and gown (at no charge) through the University Store site. Go to and click on Graduation Services.

Bring your cap, gown, and index card with your name on it (the card will be included in your cap/gown packet upon pickup in the University Store) to commencement with you on May 21 to line up in the practice gym PE Center lower level by 8:30 a.m. for the 9:30 ceremony and 1:00 p.m. for the 2:00 ceremony.
