Student Health Insurance

We strongly recommend that all students have health insurance.

Frostburg State University does not offer university-sponsored health insurance at this time. However, with the changes mandated by the Affordable Care Act, many students are now able to stay on their parent's health insurance up to the age of 26. For more information on insurance plans that you may qualify for, see HealthCare.gov.

Currently Brady Health Center does not accept health insurance for visits. Please refer to the Fees page for information on the costs of services available.

Please bring your insurance card or a copy of the front and back of your insurance card for billing of limited diagnostic services at the Brady Health Center or services that may be necessary off campus, such as: labs, x-rays, urgent care or emergency care in the event of major illness or injury.

International students should please refer to the International Students Health Insurance page for more information.
