We are pleased to introduce our keynote speaker for TASTE 2017, Dr. Chris Haskell.

Chris HaskellServing as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Technology at Boise State University, Chris specializes in preparing pre-service teachers in methods and applications of technology integration in the classroom. As a professor and researcher, Chris focuses on the impact of videogames, virtual worlds, social media, mobile devices, and digital culture. Chris and a colleague created the world's first game-based learning management system called 3D GameLab and his classroom serves as a unique game-based technology and pedagogy lab. When it comes to work, Chris is serious about play. He even has retro 80s arcade games in his office... for research, of course. It’s no wonder his friends think he needs a real job.
