Audio/Video Equipment Usage

The Mass Communication Program has audio/video equipment housed in their Equipment Room, CCIT 344 which is available to students in select Mass Communication classes only.  This equipment must be used exclusively for production assignments in these specific Mass Communication courses.  Any student who abuses ANY POLICY (e.g. checks out a camera for a friend to use) will lose all Equipment Room privileges for the semester and risk failing their class.  Each semester students are given the Equipment Check-Out Policy to read and take with them and are asked to fill out an Equipment Usage Agreement stating that they know they are responsible for repair/replacement of any equipment damaged while in their possession.  These forms are kept in file in the departmental office.

TV Studio Usage

Students enrolled in MCOM 387 Multi-Camera Studio Production are asked to sign a Student Usage Agreement which is then kept on file in the departmental office.  This consists of the DOs and DON'Ts while in the studio as well as acknowledging their responsibility to treat the technology/facility with respect.
