The Department of Music established Friends of Music at Frostburg (FMF) to enhance and promote student and professional musical performances at Frostburg State University.

FMF members receive concert mailings and invitations to special student and professional performances sponsored by the Department of Music. Giving has an immediate, dramatic, and audible impact on the musical life at FSU. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent of the tax code.

Giving can take many forms including:

  • Department of Music - General Donations
  • Specific Scholarships
  • Band Development Fund
  • Choral Development Fund
  • Jazz Development Fund


FMF Giving Levels

Allegretto  ~  Gifts of $1 to $99

Allegro  ~  Gifts of $100 to $499

Concerto  ~  Gifts of $500 to $999

Encore  ~  Gifts of $1,000 or more

Virtuoso  ~  Lifetime Gifts of $5,000 or more
