State Invests $2.5 Million in Business Park at Frostburg State University
BALTIMORE, MD (May 15, 2007) – Governor Martin O’Malley today announced the State will provide a $2.5 million grant for the Allegany Business Center at Frostburg State University (ABC@FSU), a business park to be located on the Frostburg State University campus. The announcement was made as part of a partnership celebration event held at the construction site for the new facility at the FSU Research Center in Frostburg. Also attending the event were Jonathan C. Gibralter, President of Frostburg State University; David Edgerley, Maryland Secretary of Business and Economic Development; Allegany County Commissioners James J. Stakem, Robert M. Hutcheson and Dale R. Lewis, and Glenn Weaver, Academic Privatization of Maryland, the developer of the project.
