Activities for Life at FSU Presents Intermediate Dance and Movement

Activities for Life at Frostburg State University will offer two sessions of an Intermediate Dance and Movement class for children ages 7 to11 years on Mondays in room 106 of the Cordts Physical Education Center. Session 1 will take place from Sept. 12 to Oct. 17, and session 2 from Oct. 24 to Nov. 28.

In this class, students will learn advanced technical skills and musicality as well as use props and partnering to enhance rhythmic/movement learning. This class will emphasize the use of more advanced skills and body and space awareness.

Dance attire, such as leotards, tights and ballet slippers or socks, is preferred. However, leggings, tight-fitting sweatpants and T-shirts are acceptable. A minimum of four students is needed for the class. Nicole Frost will be the instructor.

The registration and payment deadline for session 1 is Sept. 9 and for session 2 is Oct. 21. To register your child, contact Amy Nazelrod, the Activities for Life coordinator, at or 301-687-7934.
