Advocate and Youth Supporter for Clean Energy Ethan Nuss to Speak at FSU
Ethan Nuss, field director of Energy Action Coalition and active player in the U.S. youth clean energy movement, will present the lecture “Our Generation’s Clean Energy Revolution” at Frostburg State University on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Atkinson Room of the Lane University Center. This program is free and open to the public.

Nuss has been a part of the U.S. youth clean energy movement for the last four years. Supporting numerous youth-led grassroots campaigns, he has achieved clean energy victories at the campus, state and national levels.

Nuss has worked as the Maryland campaign coordinator for Chesapeake Climate Action Network and the national campus coordinator for 2020 Vision. He is a strong believer in the prospect of peace and opposes the violence that catastrophic climate change wreaks on communities.

This presentation is coordinated by the Sustainability Minor Steering Committee with the support of the Office of the President, the FSU Foundation, APO service fraternity, the Division of Student Leadership and the Departments of English and Geography. For more information, contact Dr. Sydney Duncan in the Department of English at 301-687-4225 or Dr. Henry Bullamore in the Department of Geography at 301-687-4413.
