Allen to Present Lecture on African-American Quilts

Susan Allen, writer and professor of English at Frostburg State University, will present "Gathering of Spirits: A Lecture on African-American Quilts" on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2000 at 7 p.m. in the Atkinson Room of the campus Lane Center.

Ms. Allen's lecture is the sixth event of FSU's African American Studies Forum 2000, which celebrates the cultural contribution of African Americans in the second millenium. This celebration started in September 1999 and will conclude this December.
