AMCC Baseball Championship Game Postponed Due to Rain

FROSTBURG, MD - The AMCC baseball championship game between No. 4 Frostburg State and No. 1 Pitt-Bradford scheduled for Sunday at noon at Pitt-Bradford has been postponed due to rain.

The game will now be played Monday at noon.

Frostburg State upset Pitt-Bradford 12-7 and then knocked off No. 3 Penn State Altoona 7-3 to claim the winner's bracket.

After its opening-game loss to FSU, Pitt-Bradford downed No. 2 La Roche 10-4 and edged Penn State Altoona 1-0 in 10 innings before beating Frostburg State 3-1 in the first championship game.

Tomorrow's game will decide the champion as both UPB and FSU each have one loss in the double-elimination tournament.
