Baseball Heads to Bradford for Third Time in Less Than Two Weeks

FROSTBURG, MD — The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference baseball doubleheader between Frostburg State and Pitt-Bradford, already postponed twice in the last week due to rain, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 17 beginning at 2:30 p.m. in Bradford, Pa.

The first game of the twinbill will resume in the bottom of the fourth inning with the Panthers leading, 3-1. Pitt-Bradford will have a runner on first with one out. Game two will follow immediately.

The teams were originally scheduled to play a doubleheader on Monday, April 8, but rain forced the games to be moved to this past Sunday. However, rain halted the opening contest after 3 1/2 innings of play.

Frostburg State, currently 14-8 overall and 8-2 in the AMCC, will take its eight-game winning streak into a twinight doubleheader at Villa Julie tomorrow beginning at 5:30 p.m. Pitt-Bradford enters the week 19-5 overall and 7-1 in the AMCC.
