Baseball Ranked Eighth in Mid-Atlantic Region

FROSTBURG, Md. — The Frostburg State baseball team is ranked eighth in the latest American Baseball Coaches Association Mid-Atlantic Region poll released Monday.

The Bobcats are currently 17-8 overall and sit atop the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference with a perfect 10-0 mark. FSU is riding an 11-game winning streak, having outscored its opponents 111-32 in that span.

“I’m really pleased with our play right now, both offensively and defensively,” said Bobcat Head Coach Chris McKnight. “Everyone is contributing to our success.”

The Bobcats return to action this Thursday when they host Washington & Jefferson for a single, nine-inning game beginning at 3 pm.
