C3I Seeking Information Regarding Theft of Laptop Computers From Guild Center

PRESS RELEASE FROM ALLEGANY COUNTY COMBINED COUNTY CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION (C3I) -- Sometime during the late evening hours of 06/04/2013, or the early morning hours of 06/05/2013, person or persons unknown entered the Guild Center on the campus of Frostburg State University. Once inside the building the suspect(s) entered several different classrooms and offices apparently in search of items of value. The suspect(s) removed a total of eighty (80) laptop computers, valued at approximately $35,000.00, before leaving the scene.

Seventy-nine (79) of the computers are described as Hewlett-Packard Mini 101 laptop computers. The other is described as an Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer.

Anyone with information regarding this case can call the Frostburg State University Police at 301-687-4222, or the C3I Unit at 301-777-0326. If callers wish to remain anonymous, they can call the Allegany/Mineral County Crime Solvers at 301-722-4300, where callers may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,500.00 for information leading to an arrest in this case.

The investigation is continuing by the FSU Police and C3I.
