Check Out Creativity, Talent of FSU Students at B.F.A. Thesis Exhibitions
Interested in finding out who the next up-and-coming stars in the art world will be? If so, you might want to check out one of the five rotating art exhibitions highlighting thesis projects by B.F.A. students at Frostburg State University. Featuring a diverse range of art works in a variety of media, these shows will be on display at the Stephanie Ann Roper Gallery from April 13 through May 16.

The first exhibition, titled “One Hot Mess,” includes work by Mandy Martz, Elliott Wright, Robert Guevara and Meggin Bittner. The show opens with a reception at 6 p.m. Friday, April 13, and will be on view through April 18.

The next exhibition on view, “FIN,” features work by B.F.A. students Brian Collins, Jenny Weiland, Angela Hixson and Sarah Stedman. The show opens with a reception at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 21, and is on view through April 25.

The third show in the series of B.F.A. exhibitions is called “Hang It On The Fridge” and includes work by Josh Dawson, Ivis Alfaro, Laura Cook and Marie Drexler. This exhibition will have an opening reception at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 28, and closes May 2.

The next exhibition on view is “50/50” and features work by David Keenan, Megan Elwood, Sean Clay and Rebecca Sowell. This show will open with a reception at 6 p.m. Friday, May 4, and remains on view through May 9.

The final show in the B.F.A. exhibition series is “Furia,” which features work by Racquel Lockett, Lindsay Weaver, Sheila Beading and Jennifer Berkow. Check out this final show during the opening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 12; “Furia” will remain on view through May 16.
