Faust Named AMCC Player of the Year

Erie Pa. ... Frostburg State sophomore Kim Faust (Ambler, Pa./Upper Dublin) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year in a vote by the league's head coaches.

Faust, a 5-11 forward/center, led the Bobcats with 21.4 points and 11.0 rebounds per game and ranked among Division III’s leading scorers and rebounders all season. She also posted 14 double-doubles and scored in double-figures in 24 of 25 games for the Bobcats, who finished 7-18 overall.

Faust, who earned AMCC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week honors three times, was named to three All-Tournament teams during the regular season. She was also chosen the Columbus Multimedia Division III Atlantic Region Player of the Week twice, the Columbus Multimeda Division III National Player of the Week once and was selected to the Team of the Week once.

Additionally, she was named Co-ECAC Division III Southern Region Player of the Week.
