Football Games to be Broadcast Live on Frostburg's Own 91.9 WFWM

FROSTBURG, Md. - Frostburg State fans can hear every football game this season on the university's own WFWM at 91.9 on the FM dial or by logging on to

Long time “Voice of the Bobcats,” Jeff Krone, will again handle the play-by-play duties, and former Frostburg State player, Bernard Wynder, will again be alongside, offering analysis of the action on the field.

WFWM will carry the complete nine game schedule, beginning on September 9th, when the Bobcats face Newport News Apprentice under the lights on the new sprinturf surface of Bobcat Stadium. Air time for the first broadcast will be 5:45 pm, with kick off set for 6:00 pm.

The Bobcats will play a nine game schedule in 2006, with six games at home, two on the road, and the Regents Cup Game vs. Salisbury, a neutral site contest, at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium.
