Football Seeks Third Straight Win Saturday at Catholic

FROSTBURG, MD- Frostburg State will seek its third straight win when it takes on Catholic Saturday in Washington, D.C.

The Bobcats, who posted a convincing 37-18 win over two-time defending Atlantic Central Football Conference champion Wesley last weekend, is out to avenge last year’s 31-26 upset to the Cardinals at Bobcat Stadium. The loss was FSU’s first to Catholic in five all-time meetings.

Frostburg State, which is looking to move two games over .500 for the first time since the 1999 season, controlled the ground battle against Wesley, outrushing the Wolverines, 228-36. The Bobcats also won time of possession, holding the ball nearly seven minutes more than Wesley (33:23-26:37).
