Forced entry, theft reported in FSU’s Annapolis Hall

On the morning of Saturday, May 14, shortly before 11:20 a.m., a student residing in Annapolis Hall, a residence hall at Frostburg State University, reported that when he started to open his door, an unknown male pushed open the door, shoved the resident out of the way, and stole a pair of his shoes. The suspect – reported to be a black male wearing a dark-colored bandana over his mouth and nose, a dark hoodie, jogging pants and gray-blue shoes – then ran from the scene.

Exterior doors to Annapolis Hall are kept locked at all times.

FSU Police issued a crime alert through the University’s text-messaging alert system after receiving the report. Anyone with information is asked to call FSU Police at 301-687-4223 (4222 in an emergency) or leave a message on the anonymous tip line at 301-687-STOP (7867).
