Frostburg State Names McNamara Women's Field Hockey Graduate Assistant Coach

FROSTBURG, MD — Frostburg State University recently named Jackie McNamara a graduate assistant coach for the women’s field hockey team for the 2004 season.

McNamara, a native of Westlake, Ohio, earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology from The College of William and Mary last May. She is pursuing her master's degree in education at Frostburg State.

McNamara was recently the head coach of the varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams at Walsingham Academy High School for the past three seasons while also attending William and Mary.

McNamara was granted a lacrosse scholarship at William and Mary and played in her freshman season before suffering an injury that ended her career.
