Frostburg State University Closed THROUGH Monday
FSU faculty member and NWS observer Dr. Greg Latta reported that this was the biggest storm in 10 years. See the link for his site.
Frostburg State University will remain closed until the beginning of the day shift on Monday, Feb. 8. All classes and activities have been cancelled.

The PE center will open for student use today from 10am to 8pm. The fitness/weight room and the racquetball courts will be available all day. The Practice Gym will be available from 10am-noon and again from 5pm-8pm for open gym. The main arena and practice gym will be used for athletic team practices during all other times.

Tawes Campus Center and Ort Library remain closed.

Essential personnel should report to work as scheduled. Tawes Hall will NOT be open for access between the clock tower and library quads.

Governor O'Malley has declared a state of emergency. Please stay off the roads to make way for emergency vehicles and road clearing crews.
