Frostburg State University Lunch in the Loft Presents Stephen Weatherholt

Musician, songwriter, lyricist and Frostburg State University student Stephen “Steve” Weatherholt will perform as part of FSU’s Lunch in the Loft Series sponsored by the University Programming Council on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 2 p.m. in the Derezinski Lounge/Loft in the Lane University Center.

Weatherholt is from Hancock, MD., and is a health and physical education major at FSU. Weatherholt began teaching himself to play guitar and practicing voice in 2006. He started to write his own songs in 2007 and formed the band Everyday Heroes with two of his friends from Hancock. “Every song that I have written has a personal meaning to me,” explains Weatherholt. His lyrics are a reflection of his thoughts and personal experiences. Weatherholt’s music is contemporary, soft rock that acts as an escape from life’s everyday stresses.

The performance is free and open to the public. For information, contact the Lane University Center Information Desk at 301-687-4411.
