Frostburg State University Offering Swimming Lessons for a Range of Ages

Activities for Life at Frostburg State University will be offering infant-toddler and pre-school swimming lessons (3 months to 3 years), as well as youth swimming lessons (ages 4 to 13). Both sections will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from Sept. 24 to Oct. 10 in the Cordts Physical Education Center swimming pool.

The infant-toddler and pre-school lessons will be held from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Parents are required to accompany their children in the water during these lessons. Parents and children will participate in water exploration activities with the objective of having fun and becoming comfortable in, on and around the water.

The youth swimming lessons will be held from 6 to 6:50 p.m. The class will be separated into skill levels based on each child’s swimming ability coming into the class.
