Frostburg State University Student Organization Holds Youth Rally and Concert

The Frostburg State University Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship will be hosting a concert featuring two popular rock-oriented worship bands, Circadian Rhythm and Soul Inside, on Wednesday, Oct. 24th at 6 p.m. in the Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall of the campus Lane University Center. Internationally renowned motivational speaker Bobby Petrocelli will also present a challenging message during this youth rally that is free and open and the public.

To hear something is effortless. To listen to something takes time, energy, and investment. What 40records' new rock-oriented worship band Circadian Rhythm has to offer is something worthwhile. The group, which has drawn comparisons to bands such as U2, Radiohead, and Lifehouse, feels it has a Christian message to communicate to the younger generation.

"We know what they are going through because we were there only a short time ago," says Dan Cuomo, drummer for the band. "The message we bring is that they can really have an impact in this world at a young age. You don't have to wait until your 20s and your 30s to make a contribution for Christ in this world. For me personally, I didn't hear that as a teenager."

Opening the show will be Soul Inside, a group from Morgantown, W.Va., comprised of six dedicated musicians who passionately promote Christianity through their love of music. The band brings together a mix of world rhythms, melodic trumpet lines and smooth funk jams to create a sound that is truly pop worthy, yet very musical and distinctive.

Inter-Varsity is a non-denominational Christian student organization. They have groups on college campuses throughout the world.
