FSU Dance Company Presents Winter Dance Concert

FSU Dance Company Presents Winter Dance Concert
The Frostburg State University Dance Company, under the supervision of its Artistic Director Barry Fischer, will present its Winter 2005 Dance Concert from Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 1, 2, 3 at 8 p.m. and Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. in the Drama Theatre of the FSU Performing Arts Center.

The concert will feature New York City guest performer Blakely White-McGuire, a former member of the Martha Graham Dance Company who has worked with such legendary dancers as Jane Dudley and Sean Curran.

Works in the concert have been choreographed by Martha Graham, Jane Dudley, White-McGuire, Fischer, Desiree Witt and FSU Dance Company members. A special a Hip-Hop number will feature members of the Frostburg Dance Academy.

Proceeds from Saturday’s concert will benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina via the American Red Cross.
