FSU Hosts Weeklong Course in Digital Graphics and Design

Frostburg State University’s Computer Graphics Program is offering adults and students entering grade nine and above a weeklong, half-day class in digital graphics and design from Monday, July 28, to Friday, Aug. 1, held from 9 a.m. to noon in FSU’s Digital Mac Lab, Pullen Hall 115.

Taught by Harlowe Hodges, assistant professor of art and design at FSU, the program will include an introduction to the use of the Macintosh computer and digital terminology, as well as instruction in the use of Photoshop software. Considered especially useful for teachers, the intensive course will explore the dynamics and extensive photo editing powers of Photoshop, while stressing creativity.

Hodges, in addition to his role on FSU’s visual arts faculty, has an extensive history in advertising art and graphic design in both academic and industry settings that dates back more than 25 years.

For more information on the Digital Graphics and Design program, contact Hodges at 301-687-4231 or
