FSU Mass Communication Department to Produce Mind Culture Original Music Project

Frostburg State University’s Department of Mass Communication and students in the Department of Music Promotion and Production class will produce a full-length CD featuring musical talent from the FSU campus, surrounding community and beyond as part of the annual Mind Culture Original Music project.

Whether it is an original song, an unfinished melody or just a few musical thoughts, everyone is encouraged to submit his or her musical works for consideration in this year’s project. Students in the class will be available to record, mix and master song submissions and help promote the artists included on the CD. All musical genres are welcome, but the submitting person(s) must hold the copyright to all submitted materials.

Recording dates must be scheduled on or before March 27, and already produced songs must be submitted on or before April 10. The final CD will be made available for purchase within the department and at select retail establishments in the area.

For more information or to schedule a date to be recorded, contact the Department of Mass Communication at 301-687-3049 or
