FSU Pair to Compete at NCAA Nationals

FROSTBURG, Md. — Sophomore Adrienne Raiford (Capitol Heights, Md./Gwynn Park) and freshman Sumer Rohrs (Frostburg, Md./Forest (Fla.)) will compete at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Northfield, Minn. on the campus of St. Olaf University this coming weekend.

Raiford recorded the 12th-fastest time (7.27) in the country this season in the 55-meter dash while Rohrs captured the seventh-fastest time (8.34) in the 55-meter hurdles.

The Frostburg State women’s team, finished the indoor season with a 14th-place showing at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships last weekend. Rohrs became the first-ever FSU runner to capture an ECAC title in the 55-meter hurdles (8.34).
