FSU Physics Department to Host Panel Discussion on the Concept of Time

In celebration of Albert Einstein’s 125th birthday, the Frostburg State University Department of Physics will host a panel discussion on the concept of time on Monday, March 14, at 7 p.m. in the Compton Science Center, room 226.

Panelists will include FSU professors Dr. Greg Latta, Dr. George Plitnik, Dr. Paul LaChance and Dr. James Hagen, with Francis Tam serving as moderator. The speakers will compare and contrast Einstein’s concept of time and our concept in the Western culture, as well as in the Eastern culture.

Following the discussion, birthday cake and other refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
