FSU’s Center for Creative Writing to Host Reading by Author Michael Griffith
Frostburg State University’s Center for Creative Writing will host a fiction reading by author Michael Griffith on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m. at Frostburg’s Lyric Theater at 22 E. Main St. The reading is free and open to the public.

Griffith is an associate professor of English at the University of Cincinnati and teaches in the Sewanee School of Letters. In 2004 he became founding editor of Yellow Shoe Fiction, an original-fiction series from LSU Press, and he is fiction editor at Cincinnati Review. Griffith’s new novel is titled “Trophy,” and his previous works include “Bibliophilia” and “Spikes.” His fiction and nonfiction works have appeared in Virginia Quarterly Review, Oxford American, Washington Post and numerous other periodicals. He is the recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Louisiana Division of the Arts, among others.
