FSU’s Department of Mass Communication Presents Mind Culture Original Music Project

Are you a part of a band or musical act looking to get your music out to the world? Would you like to have your music recorded and mastered? The Department of Mass Communication at Frostburg State University can help through its Mind Culture Original Music project.

FSU students are reaching out to local and regional musicians to try and solicit original music that will be used to create a compilation CD. The project will also include a concert by featured musicians on Friday, May 6, with details to be announced.

If you have an original song that is already produced that you'd like to have considered for inclusion on this year's CD, please submit it to the Department of Mass Communication, Guild Center room 119. All produced music must be received by Friday, April 15. If you have a song that you would like to be recorded, you must contact the Department of Mass Communication by Friday, April 1. All submitted songs will be considered for inclusion on the Mind Culture Original Music CD to be released later this semester. All musical acts will be considered for a live show. All submissions must be accompanied by a release form giving FSU permission to use your song for the CD. Forms are available in Guild Center 118.
