The Frostburg State University Department of Music presents the FSU Chamber Choir in Concert and the Opera Theatre production of “Amahl and the Night Visitors” on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 2, at 3 p.m. in FSU Performing Arts Center’s Pealer Recital Hall.

The FSU Chamber Choir, under the direction of Karen Soderberg-Sarnaker, assisted by Betty Jane Phillips on piano, will open the concert with seasonal selections: “Three Latvian Carols” by Andrejs Jansons, “Ave Maria” by Morton Lauridsen, “In Winter” by Paul Hindemith, “Winter” by Z. Performers include Nicole Sirois as Amahl, Krystle Hutton as Amahl’s Mother, Joseph Brickey-Goldsmith as King Melchior, Kyle Medeiros as King Kaspar, Tony Walter as King Balthazar and Arnold McNeal as The Page. The chorus features the FSU Chamber Choir. The play is directed by Jonathan Hodel, costumes are designed by Olivia Hartman and the set is designed by Conrad Maust.
