FSU's Opera Workshop Class to Present Scenes from Mozart Operas

Members of the Opera Workshop, a class in Frostburg State University's Department of Music, will present scenes from operas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Thursday, Nov. 15, and Friday, Nov. 16, in the Performing Arts Center's Pealer Recital Hall.

The concert will begin at 8 p.m. each evening. It is free and open to the public.

The presentation will include excerpts from "Don Giovanni," "Cosi fan tutte," "The Magic Flute" and "The Marriage of Figaro."

This semester's performers include Natalie Clark, Michelle Crouch, Holly Hare, Brian Hose, Derrick Jackson, Jenn Johnston, Brian Kosior, Autumn Monahan-Avila, Katie Norris, Katy Schwaderer, Shannon J. Sweeney and Kelly Vaden.

The production is under the direction of Richard Kagey, with musical direction by Kathryn Sincell-Corwell and piano accompaniment by Kimberly Andrews. For more information, contact the FSU Department of Music at (301) 687-4109.
