George Named AMCC Player of The Week

Gibsonia, PA — Frostburg State junior guard Tracie George (Windber, Pa./Windber) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week Monday after leading the Bobcats to a 2-0 week and the championship of the Jim Crawley Classic this past weekend.

George averaged 25 points per game, including 28 in the opener versus Rutgers-Camden. She shot 69.2% (18-of-26) from the field over the weekend while adding both 4.5 rebounds and assists per game.

The Bobcats defeated Rutgers-Camden, 73-58, and College Misericordia, 79-67 to win the season opening Jim Crawley Classic.

FSU returns to action on November 29 when it travels to Villa Julie to play at 7:00 p.m.
