Golf Places Seventh at AMCC Golf Championship

BRADFORD, PA — The Frostburg State University golf team finished seventh out of ten teams at yesterday’s Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship in Bradford, Pa.

FSU sophomore Ian Umphrey (Prince Frederick, Md./Calvert) and freshman Sean Buenger (Westminster, Md./Westminster) tied for the team lead shooting an 81. Sophomore Joe Eaton (Baltimore, Md./Pikesville) added an 82, while senior Wayne Hardesty (Baltimore, Md/Hereford) finished the scoring with an 87.

Penn State Altoona sophomore Kevin Lazzarro won medalist honors winning a playoff hole with Penn State Behrend sophomore Josh Loaney, both shot a 75. Penn State Behrend took the team title shooting a 322.

This match concludes the fall season for the Bobcats.
