Hargrove Named AMCC Player of the Week for Second Time This Season

GIBSONIA, Pa. — Frostburg State senior guard Krystin Hargrove (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference women’s basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season, Monday.

Hargrove continued her stellar season this past week, helping the Bobcats to a pair of wins and extending their winning streak to seven. Hargrove has scored 20 or more points in each of the last three games including 23 against Mt. Aloysius last Thursday and 25 in a crucial road victory over Lake Erie.

Hargrove also added 10 steals to her season total and she currently ranks second in the AMCC, averaging 4.48 spg.

As a team, FSU is second in the conference at 68.7 points per game, third in rebounding (43.5 rpg) and fourth in field goal percentage (.396).

The No. 4 seeded Bobcats host the No. 5 seeded Lake Erie Storm in the opening round of the AMCC Tournament tomorrow evening at Bobcat Arena at 7:00 pm.
