Hargrove Named AMCC Player of the Week

GIBSONIA, Pa. — Frostburg State senior guard Krystin Hargrove (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference women’s basketball Player of the Week, Monday.

Hargrove had a stellar week for the Bobcats helping the team a 2-1 record while averaging 22.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 4.3 steals per game. In FSU’s 90-72 win over AMCC opponent Mt. Aloysius, she scored a career-high 32 points to go along with eight boards, two assists, six steals and one block.

Hargrove is currently first in the conference in steals per game (4.5) and third in scoring per contest (15.6).

FSU returns to the court tomorrow night when it travels to Pitt-Greensburg for a 6:00 pm tipoff.
