Killen Named AMCC Tennis Athlete of the Week After Setting FSU Career Singles Wins Record

ERIE, PA — Frostburg State senior Terence Killen (Darnestown, Md./Quince Orchard) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for his record-setting performance this past week.

Killen posted a 6-2, 6-0 defeat against Penn State Behrend for his school-record 47th career singles win. He surpassed the former mark of 46 set by Chip Boling last year.

Killen, who also holds the FSU career record with 83 combined singles and doubles victories, won his doubles match against the Lions as well to help FSU to its seventh straight victory.

The Bobcats, now 9-2 overall and 5-1 in the AMCC, host Waynesburg tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.
