Kotofski Ranked Nationally in Scoring

FROSTBURG, MD - Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Pre-Season Player of the Year Karen Kotofski (Northeast/Glen Burnie, MD), who is second in the AMCC in both points per game and goals per game, was recently ranked tied for 24th on the NCAA Division III statistical rankings with her 1.29 goals per game.

Kotofski, a junior, has nine goals in just seven games on the season and is just one goal away from tying the FSU all-time career scoring record of 48 goals set by Amy Foote from 1998-2001.

As a freshman, Kotofski set FSU single-season records with 21 goals and 49 points. Already this season Kotofski has proven her scoring skills as she netted four goals in FSU's 4-1 win over Washington & Jefferson College.

The hat-trick was Kotofskiā€™s sixth of her career and her 13th multi-goal scoring performance.
