Lacrosse Defeated by Ohio Wesleyan

DELAWARE, OHIO — Ohio Wesleyan hands Frostburg State its fifth-straight loss, 14-11, in women’s lacrosse action Saturday afternoon at Roy Rike Field.

The Bishops (12-2) commanded the game early, leading 7-3 at intermission.

Despite outscoring OWU in the second half, the Bobcats (5-10) could not grasp the lead.

Sophomore Carly Rihard (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) led FSU with three goals and an assist.

Freshman Bobcat keeper Erin Morrell (Easton, Md./Easton) picked up 13 saves in the loss, earning her 14th double-digit performance of the season.

FSU returns to action on Wednesday May 3, as it travels to York (Pa.) for a game beginning at 4:30 pm.
