VJC found the net three consecutive times to take the 5-2 advantage at the 14:43 mark. FSU tied the score again (5-5) with goals from Lamont, and freshmen Danielle Merson (Fallston, Md./Fallston) and Meredith Martin (Fairfax, Va./WT Woodson).

Villa Julie scored three goals to close the half and take an 8-5 advantage at intermission.

Frostburg State opened the second half with three goals, one each from juniors Brittany Brumby (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard) and Tina Trent (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) and Rihard, to tie the game for the third time with 26:41 left to play.

After the teams exchanged goals, Villa Julie used a late surge to score four times in the last 5:28 of play to take the win.

Lamont led the Bobcats with three goals.

Freshman Bobcat keeper Erin Morrell (Easton, Md./Easton) picked up 14 saves in the loss, earning her twelfth double-digit performance of the season.
