Lecture on Jefferson’s Virginia to be Given at FSU
George Mason University Professor Cynthia A. Kierner will present a lecture titled “Scandal at Bizarre: Sex, Rhetoric, and Reality in Jefferson’s Virginia” at Frostburg State University on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Dunkle Hall room 218. This lecture is presented by the Martha T. and Ralph M. Race Western History Lecture Series, funded through the FSU Foundation, and sponsored by the FSU Department of History.

Kierner is a professor of history at George Mason University where she teaches courses on early America and women’s history. She is also the author of seven books and is currently writing a biography of Martha Jefferson Randolph and co-authoring a volume on Virginia women’s history.
